S'more Backyard Camping

My rugrats each had a couple friends over for a "campout" in our back yard. My Hunk set up the tent and brought he tractor down and made a firepit for them to pop popcorn and roast marshmallows......which of course includes S'mores....... Is a campfire really a campfire without S'mores?
Hunk then brought down some logs that he had cut last year on the property and set them around the fire for stools..... He's such a good Daddy!

Eatin' pizza by the fire.....the cats can't wait to get all the scraps.......

Look at the camera and everyone say "Cheese Pizza!"

The younger ones eating their pizza in the bedroom....telling scary stories, until they got scared and then they said they were going to tell stories that were scary but then had a funny ending..... I had to tell Hunk to lay off anything scary with them.......so he later tried to scare them with a big bat we bought from Costco. It has nice glowing red eyes....... They were on to him......saw him taking it out of the box......so burst his bubble......

I can't tell you how many times they were in and out of the jacuzzi.... music blaring.....they were having a great time......

So the cats try to eat your pizza and the dog decides to go pee while you are in the jacuzzi....
In the words of Dorothy........" There is no place like home....."

My youngest rugrat......out of the jacuzzi, now wearing my sweatshirt (she wouldn't want to get gewy marshmallow on one of her own).......eatin' a S'more...... and most likely wishing I'd stop following them around with my camera......

Her sweet little friend eatin' her S'more.........

And her other sweet little friend eatin' her S'more........

Silly girls!!...... I had such a fun time watching them enjoy themselves.........

And of course here is another photo of Hunk trying to sneak up on them with the big bat.... sorry honey, nobody cares about the bat...... (thank goodness, I could just see me sleeping in the middle of all these girls......or worse...having to sit there while they call there parents and explain that "the MAN (biggest kid) of the house" scared them so much they want to come home)...

The little ones destroyed.... I mean...... set up sleeping bags in the living room........

The big kid tent......... Good night children............ no worries, go ahead and go to sleep, I'll stay up until the campfire goes out....(that you added a butt load of wood to when I walked in the house) ... in fact I think I'll just play shadow puppets with Hunk on the wall while we wait..... and so we did...... camping just brings the kid out in you......
We decided we are going to do this again but let the kids invite a lot more friends and we'll invite their parents.......... lots more friends for us to play shadow puppets with......

Thanks for stopping by...........feel free to sit down and roast a S'more.......
Ciao Bellas~

  2. Sounds like too much fun!
Nothing as relaxing as a campfire. And nothing tastier than a smore!

The girls had a great time.... But now one of my rugrats is home sick with a temp and the flu bug today. :(
I guess the next camp out is on hold......that and it looks like rain is a-comin...

Hope you are enjoyin' your Monday!
