I hadn't made these cookies in a long time...... Then I saw someone made them on a site the other day (I can't remember where) and I said OH MY GOSH (or something like that)...... I forgot about this recipe! I MUST make these cookies again.....
So I SLAVED in the kitchen, Oh ya......it was a regular Martha Stewart moment......NOT.....
It just doesn't get much easier than this.....
And odds are you have everything you need tucked away in that clean organized pantry of yours.
Are you ready? Pull out.......
1 Cup of Peanut Butter
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Egg
Tada........ I said "TADA"..... No, I'm serious.....
In the words of Porky Pig....."That's All Folks!"
So this is all you need........... The measuring cup is my most favorite item for measuring peanut butter. I bought it from a Pampered Chef party (http://www.pamperedchef.com/) a few years ago......LOVE IT....
Disclaimer: Please remember to remove all left over bake ware from oven as this can cause MAJOR smoking to pour out of your oven if it has grease from a meat, like oh lets say pork chops for instance....as the oven heats up. I'm not admitting or denying anything... I'm just sayin'.... I'm just sayin'....
1 cup sugar...... This is almost a Vanna moment for me......
1 Cup of peanut butter........ in my handy dandy pampered chef measuring thingy-ma-bob

Scoop it in................. Did I mention I LOVE peanut butter..... this scoop may or may not have made it into the bowl.......
Ya.... I know... There comes a time in everyone's life when they have to ask themselves if it is worth it...... Well, this is one of those moments...... Is it worth posting this photo to show you how well my Pampered Chef measuring cup works? To show you how it just pushes the peanut butter out without leaving any behind in the measuring cup?.....

Is it worth showing it knowing all the comments I will probably receive regarding exactly WHAT my peanut butter may or may not look like.....
At the risk of your being afraid to eat these yummy cookies........enjoy the photo....... you know you have to take a 2nd look at it now..... sorry.........well, kind of......
1 Egg...... feel free to use two hands to crack the egg, I was trying to take a photo, don't worry I picked out the egg shells....
All mixed up and ready to roll into small(ish) balls........ ya.... I know.... again....sorry...
Here they are! Just place the peanut butter balls on the cookie sheet (this is a Pampered Chef baking stone, I like it because it takes longer for me to burn things on it)..and if you are wondering......No... I do not sell Pampered Chef......though it is another addiction of mine..

Throw them in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes. For some reason it took mine 15 to 17 minutes today on my stone, but please check after 10 to 12.
I removed them from the baking stone (YES two cookies are already missing.... I had to make sure they were good and you can't do this with just eating one) and put them on parchment paper to cool (my cooling rack is nowhere to be found.... I'm sure Mr. NOBODY put it somewhere....he frequents my home).....

It went like this:
Momma: Did you put my cooling rack away somewhere??
Every person in the house: Nooooooooooo........
finally you realize (give up) Nobody did it...... My Hunk said it happened at his home growing up all the time so every time something happened his dad would blame it on Mr. NOBODY....His dad would be so proud to know that Mr. Nobody hasn't left the family.....
I asked if they liked them and my nephew (who proclaims to be a picky eater) loudly replied "I LOVE THEM"....
My heart swelled.......my mouth opened........and I popped in another cookie..... sighhhh........You know you aren't shocked? It IS all about the food.
Don't you agree? I mean who doesn't like food? And more importantly who doesn't like EASY to make food?
Oh ya baby......now we're talkin'....
