BOIL THE HECK OUT OF EM GREEN BEANS~

This recipe was given to my by my little sister and has become a quick favorite of ours. It is so easy I almost didn't want to post it but then I realized how excited I was when my little sista shared it with me....and how excited many of our friends have been when they realize how easy they are to make....
Canned Green Beans (though I'm sure fresh would also be great), Olive Oil, Garlic Salt and Pepper...... and a can opener if you don't want to mess your teeth up......but I'll leave that up to your and your dentist to decide....
This is so good!....... Sighhhhhhhh....

Open up the canned Green Beans and pour them in, DO NOT DRAIN....

Drizzle Olive oil on them......not too much....
This photo looks as though I'm pouring a ton of Olive Oil on......don't do it......it's not butter, more is not better.

Season with the pepper and garlic salt..........
I know it's tempting to steal a cold Green Bean right out of the pan...... I have to admit I do this every time I make them.......
Why must I always sample as I cook?......I should be full when I serve dinner..... YA RIGHT..

Now the fun part, turn the heat up HIGH....... no lid.....
BOIL THE HECK OUT OF THEM!!
Just let them go until the water is gone and stir them as they fry a bit in the oil...just don't burn them...
nummer, nummer, nummers......
Ahhhhhhhhhh....... Enjoy. They don't last long.... They are moist and flavorful! And to top it off they are EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY!
Enjoy!! And thanks again to my little sis.....
Ciao Bellas~

  1. I love green beans too, here is my recipe (if you want to taste of course !) :
cook fresh green beans in salted water.
once cook, drain and let the beans aside.
In a pan, put a little butter, a minced schallot, cook until the schallot is transparent.
Add the beans, 2-3 pinches minced garlic (frozen garlic is ok) and a little bag (1cup) of heavy cream.
Salt, pepper, shake a little bit and cook for 2-3 minutes. That's it !

  4. I hate it when that happens Amy... I usually start my beans first because I can always turn them down... But more than once it's not worked ou t right for me. ;)
