LOST FIVE POUNDS AND DON'T WANT TO FIND THEM

I may never be able to do this again. But I'm going try!

I'm doing good! I'm doing great! I'm doing wonderful!

I am sooooooooooo loving the Deal A Meal program! I have lost FIVE POUNDS!!! I know this will not continue at this rate but I am AMPED BABY! =)

I took another step and joined the gym back again. I went this morning and worked out for about an hour and then went for a walk with friends afterwards. We walked four miles. I feel great!

After I came home, took a shower (yes, as you can imagine this was not only for myself but for others around me) did a little office work from home and hit the road. I went to town and had many business errands to run but I also took time out to have lunch with a good friend.

I am happy to report that I stuck to my Deal A Meal cards at lunch! And I walked away satisfied. Not stuffed but satisfied. And I have to report how much better satisfied feels VS stuffed. I usually walk away stuffed and complaining about how much I ate and asking "Why oh why did I eat all that?"....... Was a great feeling to NOT have that feeling!

We walked a bit after eating and then both went our separate ways. (oh, she also gave me the sneak peak on my new blog header design! I'm sooooooooooooooooo excited about this! It is turning out even better than I had pictured in my head. Can't wait to share it with you all!)

I really have been feeling so much better since starting this program. I know I keep saying this but it is just so true. It is amazing how good you feel when you feed your body the proper fuel it needs instead of feeding it what my little heart desires. JUNK.

The funny thing is that I thought it would be much harder than it has been.......thus far.

I've had this feeling before. It's the feeling of determination and the feeling of change. And I know the feeling of accomplishment is soon to come.

I am making this MY BEST LIFE and I so hope you are joining me on this journey.

Whether it be weight loss that needs to change in your life, organization, schooling, better sleep habits. Whatever the need in your life is I just know that together we can conquer anything.

Are you in? Are you on your way to your Best Life? Or maybe you are already there! If so GREAT JOB!!!!

What changes do you need/want to make in your life?

And the most important question of all CAN YOU STILL DO THE SPLITS?

If the answer is YES I'm standing in awe of you at this very moment. It's official, you are my hero.

Ciao Bellas~

  2. Wow! I know its only the first week or so for you, but great job! I'm right there with you; the hubby and I are (finally) going on our honeymoon in May to Kauai, and damnit, I am going to rock a bikini! I think I'm already on my way to living my BEST life; new changes are in the air for me. For starters, the healthy eating habits and gym-going are back in swing. Keep up posted; you're not going this journey alone!

  3. Oh yeah, and I could never do the splits. But I could run a mean 100 meter hurdles. Don't know if I could do that anymore...

  4. Are you in? YES
Are you on your way to your Best Life? YES - just discovered a bracelet on amazon that said, "Love the life you live." I plan to.
What changes do you need/want to make in your life? Just to lose this excess weight. Everything else falls into place with that.

And the most important question of all CAN YOU STILL DO THE SPLITS? NO NO NO NO NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FASHION, NOT EVEN CLOSE and yes, I am going to make that a goal, too. I remember what it took to get there. Funny how you don't forget 'da pain!

BTW - Richard Simmons kicked my bootie tonight when I sweated to the oldies - OHMYGOSH - I am sore. Feels amazing!

  6. Mama H- KAUAI!!! Fun, I've heard it is so beautiful there. I'm sure you will have a blast! And 100 meter hurdles you go girl! If I would have done that I think it would have been a media circus because of what the outcome of me trying to do that would have been. Congrats on your new best life! I'm so excited we are all doing this together!!

  7. LBD-Rockin' Richard! Woot! Woot! And NO you do not forget the pain. I remember we had to sit 5 minutes (as far as we could go) in left leg split & then 5 minutes straddle and 5 minutes right leg. And then because we pulled our leg up to our head and dropped to the splits we had to be able to go MORE than flat. So we put one leg on a cement bench (in our locker room) and the other leg on the cement bench behind it and we would have someone there to help balance us and we would stretch so we could be sure we were more than flat. Or stand up against a wall and have someone hold your leg up to the wall. Man oh man, your pain comment brought back some memories! I'm so wanting to do the splits again! LOL Not happening this week, but possibly this year. =)

I'm just so dang excited that we are all on this little BEST LIFE mission together!
