You all know I have my addictions. And if you know that, then you must know that my motto is "It's all about the food." If you have heard me say it once you've heard me say it 1,000 times.
Well, today it's all about what you cook the food in AND it's all about you!
I believe everything happens for a reason and there is a reason that everything happens.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm.......favorite meal?? Well, if I go out to eat, its definitely sushi! At home, my favorite meal would always be something Hubby cooks! More specifically (although, there really are many favs that Hubby cooks), probably the turkey, veggie, and brown or wild rice soup that he makes with the left over Thanksgiving turkey! Yummmmy! :>
So glad to have found your blog!
Me, again! I just blogged your giveaway! Nothing like a great giveaway, thanks! :>

Favorite meal? JUST ONE???? Ok, ok....My Aunt's most excellent baked ham, mashed taters and red eyed gravy. With her famous chocolate pie and coffee. Even her coffee is special.
ReplyDeleteGreat, now you've done it, my stomach's rumbling.
My fave meal is Russian beef stroganoff. It is NOT served over noodles with brown gravy (I had no idea what that was when I first ordered it restaurant!) - it's a white gravy of sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, beef bullion... YUM.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I did add a link on my LINKS section on my blog, www.lbddiaries.com/blog! Would have done it before but I'm just learning how to do things like that.
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite is Fried Eggs and Hashbrowns, which I just finished eating. We have it every Saturday morning, sometimes with sausage or bacon, but always Eggs and Hashbrowns. I know, pretty boring, but I have recently started exploring the wonderful world of cooking and it hasn't quite reached breakfast. A little old to start exploring but, what the hey, better late than never. And I am sure that my family would agree.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me and introducing yourself. I love your blog and I think it's great to meet someone with kids my age. I really look forward to getting to know you better. I have added you to my list of blogs I follow so look for me to visit quite often.
Thanks,
midRae
Since we are cattle ranchers, I better say my favorite meal involves beef! I do love a good rib-eye steak with a big baked sweet potatoe with all the fixin's and a great green salad on the side, with warm bread. My mouth is watering and my tummy is growling ust thinking about it!

I would have to say my favorite meal is Macadamia Crusted Halibut with baked potatoe and all the trimmings and a green salad not to forget lots of bread and butter. Yum!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda
My favorite meal is probably my Mom's traditional Christmas dinner -- turkey, mashed potatoes with the best noodles ever on them, dressing, homemade rolls, cranberry salad, corn, 5-cup salad, and for dessert a chocolate cheesecake and our birthday cake for Jesus -- the best orange cake ever. (By the way, some of us help make items so not all the work is on Mom.) Hmmm...now I'm ready for Christmas dinner! :)
ReplyDeleteI just love enchiladas. But I also adore corn chowder. But nothing beats Alice Springs Chicken from Outback. YESSSSSSS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog, it's good to make new blog friends.
Roxanne

Ever since I was a little girl, my favorite meal, which I always got on my birthday- has been:
ReplyDeleteBBQ Pork Sandwiches and Velveeta Shells and Cheese!
Some things you just never grow out of. I'm a simple girl, myself.
Ever since I was young, my favorite meal has been my Grandma's fried chicken and gravy. No one makes it as good as her. She has tried to teach me several times. I know that I need to learn soon because she won't be with us forever.
ReplyDeleteWowie what a wonderful give-away! I have to say my favorite meal is from a local restaurant here and it is Grilled Grouper, stuffed with crabmeat, with sides of garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled veggies. Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and a wonderful glass of wine!

Thanksgiving dinner is delicious and not complete unless my Mom makes the Southern-style Cornbread Dressing! Hopefully, this year she'll be instructing me...it's about time I learn. :) Over the past few years, I've really learned the meaning of Thanksgiving. :)
Oh goodness, I have so many favorites... let's see, I make my Mom's pot roast, which is fantastic if I so myself, and I love my gnocchi, homemade, which I made yesterday for us, and Thanksgiving is my most favorite meal!
