PAINTING IN PEACE

My Rugrat daughter asked her daddy to put up a table and chair so she could sit and paint a picture.... She is so artsy fartsy........wish I was!

But I love that she is....

Nestlie took up residency at her feet..... Momma kitty is wondering why I'm taking her photo...

No shortage on pets here.......

I'm sneaking........she doesn't know I'm here YET.........

She's deep in concentration.............

My stealth like sneaking skills are still working............

OK, maybe she is ignoring me...........

Yep, I'm certain she is hoping that if she pretends she doesn't see me and my camera that we will go away........

Finally she humors me and looks up and smiles............ I love you my little Rugrat......

Hunk comes out to see what his daughter is painting.......... I love you my Hunk.......

Awwwwwwwwwww........... Father daughter love....... my heart melts when I see these moments of conversation shared between them....

I wonder if Hunk is giving her pointers on how to blend the colors in her painting???....Those of you who know my Hunk know that this is not even close to what is being said......

I love my Hunk but his painting skills are probably equal to mine....... non-existent.....

His loving our Rugrat's skills.......top notch......

Sighhhhhh....... How I love that cowboy.....

Ciao Bellas~

  1. What a sweet post. It is so wonderful to see a child outside painting rather than plopped on the couch. With our genes, our children had no chance to have artistic abilities...but man can they both give a good talk!

  2. Before logging on to your blog, I had the same experience, my CC's deep in conversation about their next project, its so fun to just listen when they are deep in conversation (that is when they AREN'T arguing about who is right or wrong about the plan!) LOL love the hunk, YOU and those rugrats!

  5. She is such an artsy fartsy little rugrat! I love it though. I love that she would rather create something, bake something or DO something than sit in front of the TV....

Now my youngest Rugrat would much rather plop her rear in front of the TV and watch it all day (IF we would let her).....

Funny how four rugrats, raised under the same roof can all be so different...

    Love em all though!
