SYSTEM OVERLOAD........

HAVEN'T WE ALL HAD DAY'S LIKE THIS??

I went from sick...... to on the mend....... to sooooooooo far behind.

I had to take off my birthday party hat today and put on my office girl hat. I spent last week either celebrating turning 40 with friends and family or running from my bed to the potty.

What I didn't spend it doing was much office work.

Well that changed today.

Omigosh I thought Hunk might come home from work today and find me buried alive underneath paperwork. One minute it's the laundry pile the next it's paperwork. Invoicing (which I'm more than happy to do), paying vendors (which can sometimes make me want to cry), filing paperwork for a new customer (time consuming but oh so important), filing forms with the IRS (yahoo.....lets all get excited), filling out paperwork for our home that is in escrow, sending out estimates........and the list goes on and on and on.....

My eyes were going crossed from staring at my computer screen so long and my bladder was stretched to it's maximum capacity a few times because I just couldn't stop in the middle of all the work I was getting done just to PEE.... Why do I do that? sigh....

I am happy to report I made a dent in my pile. I have not climbed to the very top but I am not longer at the bottom with just my chubby little legs and arms sticking out, gasping for air.......

I will also sleep good tonight. Though I didn't get any physical exercise today.......my mind is exhausted.
Speaking of sleep....... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ciao Bellas~

  1. Sometimes, I must admit ... although I don't like to get sick, I do relish the opportunity to just lay in bed and not be responsible for anything or anyone. But then I start to feel better and reality hits me square in the face!
I'm glad that you are felling better and also that you got a good chunk of your work done! Now weren't you suppose to go out for dinner with you hubby for your BD? You need to make sure to put that on the top of your to-do list!

  3. I think that's why it's so hard to take time off to have fun or even let yourself get well when we're not feeling good, it is so overwhelming!
Do you guys own your own business? Anything fun? Just asking, not stalking! :) (Did I spell stalking right?)

  7. Well let's see - I love how you streeeetched out your birthday! I only managed to get 3 days out of mine. I am so glad you are no longer having personal, intimate relations with your former BFF and did get a chunk of necessary work done. I agree with Cottage Girl - do not forget to go out to a romantic dinner with Hunk!

  9. O mom- yes we have our business. We service Communication Towers for TV stations, radio stations, cell phones, etc. Hunk and my oldest rugrat (an other employees) work on the towers and I manage the office. It keeps me busy, especially with 3 other Rugrats to run around and pick up and do homework with..... I do a lot of my work from home when they are at school. You crack me up! I didn't think you were a stalker. lol (and I think you spelled it right, I'm sooooooooo bad at spelling....I can admit it...lol)

LBD- Had a nice dinner with Hunk and friends. Was so much fun.

Handy man, Crafty woman- I hope you are feeling better! I also hope you got caught up. It is so hard once you get behind! I feel your pain.
